Workflow Guide

Follow the project order, safety notes, and product-use reminders.

Order of operations

Recommended Step-By-Step Workflow

Before starting the work

Gather the items flagged in Step 4 so cleaning, repairs, sanding, finishing, and hardware install can happen in order. Product recommendations are planning inputs, not a substitute for the manufacturer label. Verify compatibility, prep, PPE, dry time, cure time, and application instructions for the exact cleaner, filler, primer, paint, stain, or topcoat before using it.

Review Order List
1. Inspect, verify, and photograph

Timing: 15-30 minutes before purchase and again once home

Check joinery, drawer action, odor, and all damage before spending on materials. Work lightly and protect the thin top layer. Focus on spot repairs, careful clamping, and moderate sanding only after lifted sections are fully re-bonded.
